EUGENIO BREZZI TRUFFLES
OUR STORY
The history of our company is linked to the history of our family, born from a passion for nature, a deep bond with tradition and a great love for our work, values that are passed down from generation to generation.
The founder, Eugenio Brezzi , discovered the world of truffles in the late 1920s, when he accompanied his father in the pine forests of the Maremma Toscana. It was in those places rich in history and beauty that he met a man with his dog, intent on searching for the precious truffles. Struck by that moment, Eugenio decided to teach his dog, Lola, how to find these "hidden treasures", starting a tradition that has since become the heart of our business.
In the period following the Second World War, Eugenio's business expanded rapidly, thanks to his vision and the dedication that has always distinguished our family. In 1946, with a brilliant intuition, Eugenio created the truffle puree, the first product of its kind in the world, created to enhance even the smallest truffles.
Even today, our company, which proudly preserves the principles and values of the family tradition , continues to work the truffle with love and dedication, using artisanal methods, in full respect of nature and without resorting to chemical preservatives.
Our headquarters, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma , is the place where we collect and work with passion the best white and black truffles, combining love for our work and respect for a tradition that represents our history and our identity.

“For this reason Eugenio spares us every possible, boring lesson on truffles, on what they are, on their different species, on their qualities, on the ways to use them in cooking. He is not interested in this, and neither are we. Instead, it is his story that he wants to tell us, the story of a man who lived his life intensely, openly, without sparing himself efforts and discomforts, but always with optimism, good humor and courage, even in the most difficult moments”.
